PREVIOUSLY AN ORUTMANCE RENAMING A
WITHIN THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK,
DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS
MEREAS, there is located within the Village of Oak Brook, Du Page and
Cook Counties, Illinois, a street named Ridgewood Court located in the Forest
Glen Unit II Subdivision; and

`Cook Counties,` Illinois", a street named Ridg&ood Circle"located'in the Saddle"
Brook Unit IV Subdivision; and
WHEREAS, the developer of Forest Glen Unit II has agreed, in the interest
of public safety, to the changing of the name of Ridgewood Court; and
WHEREAS, the Corporate Authorities of the Village of Oak Brook deem the
passage of this Ordinance to be in the best interest of the Village of Oak Brook,
Du Page and Cook Counties, Illinois,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees
r of the Village of Oak Brook, Du Page and Cook Counties, Illinois,
SECTION h:-` That the provisions- of the preamble hereinabove set forth are hereby`
restated rein as though herein fully set forth.
SECTION 2: That the previously named Ridgewood Court in the Forest Glen Unit II
Suu b ivision, recorded on May 13, 1977, with the Du Page County Recorder's Office,
as document number R77-35731, is hereby renamed Knollwood Court, and said street
shall hereafter be known as Knollwood Court.
SECTION 3: That the Village Clerk is hereby authorized and instructed to amend
e official maps of the Village of Oak Brook to comply with the provisions of
this Ordinance.
SECTION 4: All ordinances, rules, and regulations of the Village of Oak Brook
which are in conflict with the provisions of this Ordinance are hereby repealed
to the extent of the conflict.
SECTION S: If any section, sub-section, sentence, clause, or phrase of this
Ordinance is for any reason held to be invalid, such determination shall not
affect the validity of any remaining portion of this Ordinance.
SECTION b: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage and approval and publication -in pamphlet form as provided by law.

Village of Oak Brook this 14th day of November 1978.
