ORDINANCE NO. G- 244
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 5-7 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES
OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK AND PROVIDING FOR WAIVER OF
BUILDING PERMIT FEES IN CERTAIN INSTANCES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES,
ILLINOIS as follows :
Section 1 : That Section 5-7 of the Code of Or-
dinances of the Village of Oak Brook be and is hereby amended
by adding thereto the following
Any governmental unit or any charitable organiza-
tion as defined in "An Act to Regulate Solicitation and Collec-
tion of Funds For Charitable purposes , Providing for Violations
Thereof and Making An Appropriation Therefor", Chapter 23 , Il-
linois Revised Statutes, 1977 , Sections 5101 et sequitur, may
request waiver of any fees imposed pursuant to the terms of
this Section. Upon such requests the President and Board of
Trustees may by motion waive any such fees imposed pursuant to
this Section.
Section 2 : That all Ordinances or pasts thereof
in conflict with the provision of this Ordinance be and the same
are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
Section 3 : That this Ordinance shall be in full
force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publi-
cation as provided by law.
Section 4 : That the Village Clerk is hereby auth-
orized and directed to publish this Ordinance in pamphlet form as
required by law.
