AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK
COUNTIES, ILLINOIS , PROVIDING THAT ORDINANCE NO. G-177, THE
TRAFFIC CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, ILLINOIS, BE
AMENDED IN PART, TO REGULATE TRAFFIC IN THE
FOREST GLEN SUBDIVISION
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Oak Brook enacted Ordinance No . G- 177, being an Or-
dinance regulating traffic within the Village of Oak Brook,
which Ordinance from time to time has been amended; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village deem it advisable and in the best interest and in fur-
therance of the general welfare of the citizens of the Village -
that said Ordinance No G-177 be further amended to provide
traffic regulations in the Forest Glen Subdivision;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND
BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK
COUNTIES,. ILLINOIS, as follows :
Section 1: That the provisions of the preamble here-
ina.bove set forth are hereby incorporated herein as though herein
fully set forth.
Section 2: That in accordance with the provisions of
Section 1-601(f) of Ordinance G- 177, Schedule I thereof, entitled
"Altered Maximum Speed Limits" is hereby amended by adding thereto
the following:
"All streets in Subdivision known as
Forest Glen - 25 MPH"
Section 3 That Schedule II of Ordinance G-177, en-
titled "Through Streets" is hereby amended by adding thereto the
following:

Forest Glen Lane Wood-.•_len Lane Eastern Terminus
Wood Glen-Lane :York Road Eastern Terminus
Section 4 : That Schedule V of Ordinance G-177, en-
titled "Yield Streets" is hereby amended by adding thereto the
following:
Traffic On Will Yield To
Foxes-t Glen Lane Wood Glen Lane
Section 5 : That Schedule VIII of Ordinance G-177, en-
titled "Limited Load Streets" is hereby amended by adding thereto
the following"

Section 6 : That. the appropriate officers and employees
of the Village are hereby authorized and directed to post such
signs in conformance with the provisions of Sections 2 , 3, 4 and
5 hereof to implement the provisions of this Ordinance .
Section 7 : That this Ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage , approval , publication in
pamphlet form and the posting of the appropriate signs as directed
in Section 6 hereof.
Section 8 : That all ordinances or parts thereof in
conflict with the provisions of this Ordinance be , and the same
are, hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict .
