AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING
FEES AND CHARGES FOR THE USE OF
THE OAK BROOK FREE PUBLIC LIBRARY
WHEREAS, the Corporate Authorities of the Village of
Oak Brook have heretofore established the Oak Brook Free Public ,
Library pursuant to the passage of Ordinance S-225 , passed and
approved May 25, 1971 ; and
WHEREAS, the Corporate Authorities deem it appropriate and
advisable to establish certain fees and charges for the use of the
library;
NOW THERFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND
BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK
COUNTIES, ILLINOIS as follows :
Section 1: That the following fees and charges are hereby
established governing the Oak Brook Free Public Library:
Fee or Charge Fee Amount
Non-Resident Family - Per Year $20 . 00
Non-Resident Student - Per Year $ 5 .00
Non-Resident Senior Citizen - Per Year $ 5 . 00
16mm Film Rental - $ 4. 00
Video Cassette Rental $ . 50
Framed Art Prints $ 1. 00
Overdue Charge (per day-per item, except
16mm film) $ . 05
Maximum Fine Per Item (except 16mm film) $ 2 . 00
Overdue Charge - 16mm Film - Per day-Per
Item $ 2 . 00
Section 2 : That this Ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage , approval , and publication
in pamphlet form as required by law.
Section 3: That the Village Clerk is hereby authorized
and directed to publish this Ordinance in pamphlet form in the
manner provided by law.
Section 4: That all Ordinances or parts thereof in con-
flict with the provisions of this Ordinance be and the same are
hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict .
