AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. G- 177 , THE TRAFFIC CODE OF
THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, ILLINOIS, TO REGULATE TRAFFIC IN THE
SADDLEBROOK SUBDIVISION
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Oak
Brook enacted Ordinance No . G- 177 , being an Ordinance regulating traffic
within the Village of Oak Brook, which Ordinance from time to time has
been amended; and
jVHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village deem
it advisable and in the best interest and in furtherance of the general
welfare of the citizens of the Village that said Ordinance No . G- 177
be further amended to provide traffic regulations in the Saddlebrook
Subdivision;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS
as follows :
Section - l : That the provisions of the preamble hereinabove set
forth are hereby incorporated herein as though herein fully set forth.
Section 2 : That in accordance with the provisions of Section
1- 601 (f) of Ordinance No. G-177 , Sechedule I thereof, entitled
"Altered Maximum Speed Limits" is hereby amended by adding thereto the
following:
Name of Street ?Maximum Speed Limit
"All streets in the Subdivision 25 m.p .h.
known as Saddlebrook"
Section 3: That the appropriate officers and employees of the
Village are hereby authorized and directed to post such signs in con-
formance with the provisions of Section 2 .hereof, to implement the
provisions of this Ordinance .
Section 4 : That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage , approval , publication in pamphlet form and
the posting of the appropriate signs as directed in Section 3 hereof.
Section S : That the Village Clerk is hereby- authorized and directed
to publish this Ordinance in pamphlet form as required by law.
Section 6 : That all ordinances or parts thereof in conflict with
the provisions of this Ordinance be and the same are hereby repealed
to the extent of such conflict.
