AN ORDINANCE ANIL-. +LANG THE PERSONNEL RULES AND REGULATIONS
OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK AND REVISING PROVISIONS
CONCERNING HOLIDAYS
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Oak Brook have heretofore adopted Personnel Rules and
Regulations ; and
WHEREAS, said Personnel Rules and Regulations have been
amended from time to time ; and
WHEREAS, it is deemed appropriate that said Personnel
Rules and Regulations as previously amended be further amended by
amending the present provisions contained in Section 3 of Article
VI of said Personnel Rules ;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND
BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK
COUNTIES, ILLINOIS as follows :
Section 1 : That Section 3 of Article VI of the Personnel
Rules and Regulations of the Village of Oak Brook be and is hereby
amended by adding thereto the following:
(i) Personal leave. In addition to the provisions
of (a) through (h) above , all full-time employees
shall be entitled to 3 personal. holidays each
calendar year.. Such leave may only be taken
at times approved by the employee ' s department
head, Notwithstanding , the provisions of this
paragraph shall not affect any policy of addition-
al personal leave (in excess of 3 days) here-
tofore approved by -the President and Board of
Trustees regarding full- time employees employed
as of December 1 , 1980 ,
Section 2 : Except as amended hereby the Personnel Rules
and Regulations of the Village of Oak Brook shall remain in full.
force and effect and are hereby ratified and confirmed.
Section 3 : That this Ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage , approval and publication as
required by law.
Section 4 : That the Village Clerk is hereby authorized
and directed to publish this Ordinance in pamphlet form in the manner
provided by law.
