AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 5-2 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES
OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK AND INCORPORATING STANDARDS FOR
THE ISSUANCE OF BUILDING PERMITS INVOLVING CERTAIN LAND
MODIFICATIONS
WHEREAS, the Village President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Oak Brook have heretofore adopted Ordinance G- 298 entitled
"An Ordinance Amending Chapter 10 Of The Code Of Ordinances Of The
Village of Oak Brook And Establishing Regulations For The Control Of
Soil Erosion And Sedimentation llnd Storm Water Management" ; and
WHEREAS, the substantive provisions of said Ordinance G- 298
have been incorporated into the Code of Ordinances of the Village of
Oak Brook as Sections 10- 53 through 10-61 , inclusive ; and
WHEREAS, it is the specific intent of said Ordinance G- 298
to incorporate the provisions thereof requiring a permit for certain
land 'modi.fications to be applicable to situations where a building
permit is required and any portion of that work also involves a land
modification as therein defined;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES..
ILLINOIS as follows :
Section 1 : That Section 5-2 of the Code of Ordinances of the
Village of Oak Brook be and is hereby amended by auldi.ng thereto sub-
section (m) which sub-section shall read as follows :
/1(m) No permit shall, be issued for 'any work involving
any land modification as defined in Section 10-54
(4) unless such work conforms to the standards set
forth in the "Soil Erosion and Sedimentation Regulations" ,
Article III of Chapter 10 of this Code of Ordinances .
Section 2 : That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage , approval and publication in pamphlet form,
all as required by law
Section 3 : That the Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed
to publish this. Ordinance in pamphlet form in the manner provided by
law.
