ORDINANCE NO . G- 319
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 10- 55 (d) (5) OF THE CODE OF
ORDINANCES OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK CONCERNING REGULATIONS
FOR THE CONTROL OF SOIL EROSION AND SEDIMENTATION AND STORM
WATER MANAGEMENT
WHEREAS, the Village President and Board of Trustees on July 14 ,
1981 approved Ordinance G- 298 , codified as Sections 10- 53 through
Sections 10-61, inclusi.ve, of the Code of Ordinances of the Village of
Oak Brook , and;
WHEREAS, the standards referred to therein in Section 10-55 (d) (5)
have been amended and revised; and
WHEREAS, amendment of said section is necessary to incorporate and
adopt the amended standards ;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES,
ILLINOIS as follows :
Section 1 : That the provisions of the preamble hereinabove set
forth are hereby adopted as those fully set forth herein.
Section 2 : That Section 10- 55 (d) (5) of the Code of Ordinances
of the Village of Oak Brook be and is hereby amended to read as follows :
"The submissions required in subsections 1 through 4 above
shall be prepared in accordance with the standards and
requirements contained in "Procedures and Standards for
Urban Soil Erosion and Sedimentation Control in Illinois"
prepared by the Northeastern Illinois Soil Erosion and
Sedimentation Control Steering Committee , dated October
1981 , which standards and requirements are hereby in-
corporated into this Article by reference . "
Section 3 : That the Village Clerk is authorized and directed to
publish this Ordinance in pamphlet form in the manner provided by law.
Section 4 : That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after it is passed and approval and publication in pamphlet
form, all as required by law.
Passed this 9th day of March ,1982 .
