AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE SUBDIVISION REGULATIONS OF THE
VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, ORDINANCE G-160 , AS AMENDED AND
AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK IN
ESTABLISHING TIME LIMITS FOR THE PROCESSING OF APPROVED
FINAL PLATS OF SUBDIVISION
WHEREAS, an application has been filed by the Village of
Oak Brook requesting an amendment to the Subdivision Regulations to
establish time limits for the processing of approved final plats of
subdivision, and
WHEREAS, a public hearing on said application has been con-
ducted by the Plan Commission of the Village of Oak Brook on May 17 ,
1982 pursuant to due and appropriate notice , and
WHEREAS , a recommendation has been made by the Plan Commission
that the amendment requested be approved,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES,
ILLINOIS as follows :
Section 1 :' That the provisions of the preamble hereinabove
set forth are hereby adopted as though fully set forth herein.
Section 2 : That Article VI of the Subdivision Regulations of
the Village of Brook, Illinois be and is hereby amended by adding
thereto Section 6 . entitled "Recording Of Final Plats - Time Limit",
which Section shall read as follows :
Upon approval of a final plat of subdivision by Resolution
of the corporate authorities , as provided in Section 1
(C) hereof, the subdivider shall within six (6) months
thereof submit to the Village the plat and all other docu-
mentation required pursuant to said Resolution and these
Subdivision Regulations . Failure to comply with this
provision shall render such approved final plat as null
and void.
Said six (6) month time limit as set forth above shall
apply to all final plats previously approved by the Corporate
Authorities commencing as of the effective date of this
Ordinance.
Section 3 : That Section 2-225 (e) of the Code of Ordinances
of the Village of Brook be and is hereby amended by adding thereto
Subsection (5) entitled "Resubmissions" which Subsection shall read as
follows :
Upon resubmission of any final plat which has not been
recorded because of noncompliance with the provisions of
Section 6 of Article VI of the Subdivision Regulations ,
the fees enumerated under subsections (2) , (3) and (4)
hereof shall be paid, notwithstanding any prior payment.
Section 4 : That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and afTer its passage , approval and publication as re-
quired by law.

Section 5 : That the Village Clerk is hereby authorized
and directed to publish this Ordinance in pamphlet form.
