AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3-23 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES
OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, ILLINOIS CONCERNING
THE NUMBER OF AUTHORIZED LIQUOR LICENSES
WHEREAS, Section 3- 23 of the Code of Ordinances of the Village
of O'ak Brook authorizes certain numbers of liquor licenses ; and
WHEREAS , the President and Board of Trustees of the Village
deem it advisable and in the best interest and in furtherance of the
general welfare of the citizens of the Village that the Code of Ordi-
nances of the Village be amended by revising the number of such permitted
licenses ;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE .OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS
as follows :
Section l : That Section 3-23 of the Code of Ordinances of
the Village of Oak Brook, Illinois , be and the same is hereby amended
to read as follows :
(1) Class A-1 , thirteen (13) licenses ;
(2) Class A- 2 , four (4) licenses ;
(3) Class A-3 , two (2) licenses ;
(4) Class A-4 , one (1) license;
(5) Class B , two (2) licenses ;
(6) Class C, three (3) licenses ;
(7) The number of Class D licenses shall
not be limited.
Section 2 : That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval as provided by law as
of June 30 , 1982 .
Section 3 : That all ordinances or parts thereof in conflict
with the provisions of this Ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent
of such conflict .
