AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE II OF CHAPTER 3 OF THE CODE OF
ORDINANCES OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, ILLINOIS RELATING TO
LICENSES FOR THE SALE OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES
WHEREAS, Section 3-21 (a) of the Code of Ordinances of the Village of Oak
Brook concurs the annual fees for liquor licenses; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Oak Brook
deem it advisable and in the best interest and in furtherance of the general
welfare of the citizens of the Village that the Code of Ordinances of the Village
of Oak Brook be amended by reducing the maximum annual fee for Class D
(day-to-day retail liquor sales) from $4,000.00 to $2,000.00 for a one year trial
period.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS as follows:
Section 1: That subsection (a) of Section -3-21 of the Code of Ordinances
of the Village of Oak Brook, Illinois be and the same is hereby amended to read
as follows:
Section 3-21. Fees; term.
(a) The annual fee for licenses under this Article shall be

Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its. passage and approval as provided by law.
Section 3: That all ordinances or parts thereof in conflict with the
provisions of this Ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
