G-354 - 03/26/1985 - VILLAGE CODE - Ordinances ORDINANCE NO. G-- 2 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2-61 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK REGARDING COMPENSATION FOR THE VILLAGE CLERK WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees have reviewed the compensation of the Village Clerk and deem a revision in the level of such compensation to be appropriate; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS as fdlldws: Section 1: That the provisions of the preamble hereinabove set forth are hereby adopted as though fully set forth herein. Section 2: That Section 2-61 of the Code of Ordinances of the Village of Oak Brook entitled "Compensation; Absences" regarding the Village Clerk be and is hereby amended to read as follows: Section 2-61 Cbmpensati�n; Absences. (a) The Village Clerk shall receive a salary equal to Fifty Dollars ($50.00) for each regular Board meeting or special Board meeting attended, provided that any Village Clerk serving a term which commences prior to April 2, 1985 shall receive a salary equal to Twenty-five Dollars ($25.00) for each regular Board meeting 6r special Board meeting attended. The Clerk shall receive compensation for not more than one (1) meeting during each calendar week. (b) The Clerk shall be allowed two (2) absences in each year for which compensation may be paid at the rate set forth in this Section. Sectibin 3: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval as provided by law. Section 4: That any ordinance or parts thereof in conflict with the provisions of this Ordinance are hereby repealed. PASSED this 26th day of March 1985.
