AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 8 -5 -2 (FEES AND CHARGES)
OF CHAPTER 5 (FEES, CHARGES AND BONDS) OF TITLE 8 (PUBLIC WORKS)
AND SECTION 9 -7 -8 (PERMIT FEES) OF CHAPTER 7 ( STORM WATER
MANAGEMENT PERMITS) OF TITLE 9 (STORM WATER, FLOODPLAIN,
AND SEDIMENTATION AND EROSION CONTROL REGULATIONS)
OF THE VILLAGE CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, ILLINOIS
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Oak Brook, Illinois have
heretofore, by ordinance, established rates, fees and service charges within Title 8 (Public Works) and
Title 9 (Storm Water, Floodplain, and Sedimentation and Erosion Control Regulations) of the Village
Code, and
WHEREAS, the Village Engineer has recommended an increase in the hourly fee for plan reviews
in the Public Works and Storm Water Management section of the Village Code, and
WHEREAS, the Village President and Board of Trustees have reviewed these proposed
amendments and have approved the changes recommended by the Village Engineer; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees deem the suggested amendments to Titles 8
and 9 of the Village Code to be in the best interest and in pursuance of the general welfare of the Village,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS as follows.
Section 1- That the words and numbers "forty -nine dollars ($49.00)" wherever they appear in
Subsection A (Plan Review And Inspection Fees) of Section 8 -5 -2 entitled (Fees and Charges) of Chapter
5 (Fees, Charges and Bonds) of Title 8 (Public Works) of the Village Code of the Village of Oak Brook be
deleted therefrom and be replaced with the words and numbers "fifty -one dollars ($51 00)"
Section 2 That the words and numbers "forty -nine dollars ($49 00)" wherever they appear in
Subsection A (Plan Review and Inspection Fees) of Section 9 -7 -8 entitled (Permit Fees) of Chapter 7
(Storm Water Management Permits) of Title 9 (Storm Water, Floodplain, and Sedimentation and Erosion
Control Regulations) of the Village Code of the Village of Oak Brook be deleted therefrom and be replaced
with the words and numbers "fifty -one dollars ($51 00)"
Section 3 That all ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this Ordinance are hereby
repealed to the extent of such conflict
Section 4 That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after passage,
approval and publication as provided by law.
