G- 393 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE II OF CHAPTER 14 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK RELATIVE TO VILLAGE RECREATIONAL FACILITIES WHEREAS, the Village President and Board of Trustees have heretofore adopted rules and regulations for the Sports Core, Oak Brook Golf Club, and Bath and Tennis Club, codified as Article II of Chapter 14 of the Code of Ordinances of the Village of Oak Brook; and WHEREAS, the Village President and Board of Trustees deem further amendment of said rules and regulations to be in the best interest and in furtherance of the general welfare of the citizens of the Village of Oak Brook; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS as follows: Suction 1: That the provisions of the preamble hereinabove set forth are hereby adopt=as though fully set forth herein. Section 2: That Sections 14-12(c) , 14-12(d) and 14-12(g) of the Code of Ordinances of the Village of Oak Brook be and are hereby amended to read as follows: (c) Green fees, normenbers: Resident Nonresident Weekdays 18 holes................... $10.00 $14.50 9 holes.................... 6.50 9.00 Twilight, after 5:00 p.m.... 5.50 8.00 Weekends 18 holes.................... $12.00 $17.00 9 holes... ... .. .... 7.00 10.00 Twilight, after 5:00 p.m.... 6.50 9.00 (d) Season membership fee schedule*: Corporate Resident Resident Nonresident Unlimited $325.00 $425.00 $700.00 Limited 275.00 325.00 500.00 Senior 215.00 275.00 Not Available Junior 215.00 Not Available Not Available *Note: Any individual who has either a fanily or individual membership at the Bath and Tennis Club will qualify for a 20 percent discount applied to their golf season membership. (g) Golf cart rental fees: 13 holes 9 holes Hand cart................. $ 2.00 $ 1.50 Power cart................ 13.00 10.00 Section 3: That Section 14-13(g) is amended by adding subsection 4 as follows: 4. Tennis lessons fees are as follows: Individual Private - 1 hour $28.00 Private - 1/2 hour 14.00 Semi-private (2 persons) - 1 hour 14.00 per person, Group (4 or more persons) - 1 hour 5.50 per person, Ordinance No. G- 393 Amending Article I of Chapter 14 Relative to Village Recreational Facilities Page two Section 4: That Section 14-12(i) is amended to read as follows: (i) Driving range. The cost of a bucket of sixty (60) balls is four dollars ($4.00). The driving range rules and regulations are as follows: (1) Keep bags and golf carts behind rope. (2) Return pails to ball dispenser. (3) Practice only between tee markers. (4) Aim at flag poles only. (5) Do not retrieve balls in front of tee markers. (6) Driving ranges only at Field 1 (lower Field front 9) and Field 2 (upper range back 9) on days opened. (7) Range open April 1 to October 31, seven (7) days a week, weather permitting. Hours are 7:30 a.m. to l 1/2 hours before dusk. (8) Purchase tokens in pro shop for range balls in ball dispenser. (9) Practice only at south end of Field 1 and at north end of Field 2. (10) Users of range may not walk across the golf course. (11) Parking for driving ranges will only be in the golf course parking lot. (12) Shirts must be worn on the driving range. Section 5: That all ordinances or parts that are in conflict with the provisions of this Ordinance be and'the sane are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict. Section 6: That the provisions of this Ordinance are deemed severable and the va i i-ty or invalidity of any portion thereof shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions thereof. Section 7: That the Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to publish this Ordinance in pamphlet form in the manner provided by law. Section 8: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its approval and publication in pamphlet fore, as required by law. PASSED THIS 10th day of February , 1987.
