G- 398 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE II OF CHAPTER 14 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK RELATIVE TO VILLAGE RECREATIONAL FACILITIES WHEREAS, the Village President and Board of Trustees have heretofore adopted rules and regulations for the Sports Core, Oak Brook Golf Club, and Bath and 'Penis Club, codified as Article II of Chapter 14 of the Code of Ordinances of the Village of- Oak Brook; and WHEREAS, the Village President and Board of Trustees deem further amendment of said rules and regulations to be in the best interest and in furtherance of the general welfare of the citizens of the Village of Oak Brook; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS as follows: Section 1: That the provisions of the preamble hereinabove set forth. are hereby adopted as though fully set forth herein. Section 2: That Section 14-12(i) of the Code of Ordinances of the Village of Oak Brook be and is hereby amended to read as follows: (i) Driving range. The cost of a bucket of sixty (60) balls is three ($3.00) dollars for residents and four ($4.00) dollars for non-residents. The driving range rules and regulations are as follows: (1) Keep bags and golf carts behind rope. (2) Return pails to ball dispenser. (3) Practice only between tee markers. (4) Aim at flag poles only. (5) Do not retrieve balls in front of tee markers. (6) Driving ranges only at Field 1 (lower Field front 9) and Field 2 (upper range back 9) on days opened. (7) R:.nge open April 1 to October 31, seven (7) days a week, weather permitting. Hours are 7:30 a.m. to 1 1/2 hours before dusk. (8) Purchase tokens in pro shop for range balls in ball dispenser. (9) Practice only at south end of Field 1 and at north end of Field 2. (10) Users of range may not walk across the golf course. (11) Parking for driving ranges will only be in the golf course parking lot. (12) Shirts must be worn on the driving range. Section 3: That all ordinances or parts that are in conflict with the provisions of this Ordinance be and the same are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict. Section 4: That the provisions of this Ordinance are deemed severable and the validity cr invalidity of any portion thereof shall not affect the validity of the :araining portions thereof. Section 6: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication in pamphlet form, as required by law. PASSED THIS 28th day of April , 1987.
