AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE II OF CHAPTER 14 OF THE
CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE VILLAGE OF OAR BROOK RELATIVE
TO VILLAGE RECREATIONAL FACILITIES
WHEREAS, the Village President and Board of Trustees have heretofore
adopted rules and regulations for the Sports Core, Oak Brook Golf Club, and Bath
and Tennis Club, codified as Article II of Chapter 14 of the Code of Ordinances
of the Village of Oak Brook; and
WHEREAS, the Village President and Board of Trustees deem further
amendment of said rules and regulations to be in the best interest and in
furtherance of the general welfare of the citizens of the Village of Oak Brook;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS as follows:
Section 1: That the provisions of the preamble hereinabove set forth
are hereby adopted as though fully set forth herein.
Section 2: That Section 14-12(a) (6) of the Code of Ordinances of the
Village of Oak Brook be and is hereby amended to read as follows:
(6) Junior. A minor child seventeen (17) years of age or
younger. Junior members may play without payment of
additional greens fees at any time course is open except
(a) weekends or holidays before noon, or (b) if 13 years of
age or under, after 3:45 P.M. on weekdays unless accompanied
by an adult. Members may play during the excepted times in
(a) and (b) above by paying the prevailing greens fees.
Section 3: That all ordinances or parts that are in conflict with the
provisions of this Ordinance be and the sane are hereby repealed to the extent of
such conflict.
Section 4: That the provisions of this Ordinance are deemed severable
and the validity or invalidity of any portion thereof shall not affect the j
validity of the remaining portions thereof.
Section 5: That the Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to
publish this Ordinance in pamphlet form in the manner provided by law.
Section 6: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after it pass'-sage, approval and publication in pamphlet form, as required by
law.
