ORDINANCE NO. G- 404
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE IX, SECTION 3 OF THE PERSONNEL
RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK REGARDING
MILEAGE REIMBURSEMENT
WHEREAS, the Personnel Rules and Regulations presently provide for
mileage reimbursement for Village employees, but excludes such reimbursement for
commuting expenses to or from court by police personnel; and
WHEREAS, the Village President and the Board of Trustees deem this
distinction to not be reasonable in that the mileage reimbursement otherwise
stated in said provision should be applicable to all Village employees;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS as follows:
Section 1 : That Article IX Section 3 of the Personnel Rules and
Regulations of the Village of Oak Brook, Appendix D to the Code of Ordinances of
the Village of Oak Brook and is hereby amended to read as follows:
Any employee utilizing one's private vehicle for Village
business as approved by the respective Department Head or the
Village Manager (in case of Department Heads) shall be
entitled to reimbursement at the rate of $0.20 per mile.
Section 2: That except as amended hereby the Personnel Rules and
Regulations of the Village of Oak Brook shall remain in full force and effect and
are hereby ratified and confirmed.
Section 3: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval as required by law.

To pass the Ordinance granting the variations, subject to the approval
of the Village Attorney and the Village Engineer.

President Cerne.
Nays: None
Absent: Trustee Maher So ordered.
D. ORDINANCE NO. G-404 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE IX, SECTION 3 OF THE
PERSONNEL RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK REGARDING
MILEAGE REIMBURSEMENT
Proposed Ordinance authorizes any employee utilizing one's private
vehicle for Village business shall be entitled to reimbursement at the
rate of $0.20 per mile.
