AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING ADDITIONAL FEES AND CHARGES FOR
ENFORCEMENT OF PROHIBITIONS ON LANDSCAPE SPRINKLING
Be it ordained by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of
Oak Brook as follows:
Section 1: That Section 12-406(b) of the Code of Ordinances of the
Village of Oak Brook be and is hereby amended to read as` follows:
Section 12-406(b). Discontinuance of service..
The Manager shall have the authority to enforce the provisions
of this division by the discontinuance of water service in the
event of violation hereof. In addition any other penalties
any request to restore water service after a violation of
Section 12-405 shall be subject to the submission to the
Village of a $200.00 service charge.
Section 2: That Section 12-87(C)(8) of the Code of Ordinances of the
Village of Oak Brook be and is hereby amended to read as follows:
(8) Turning on water following interruption in service,
twenty-five dollars ($25.00) except that the turn on of
water following a discontinuance of service pursuant to the
provisions of Section 12-406 shall require the payment of a
$200.00 service charge.
Section 3: That in light of the present water shortage emergency that
exists, the provisions of this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after the passage and approval pursuant to law.
