AN AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE
OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK
RELATING TO SPECIAL USES IN AN ORA-1 OFFICE RESEARCH ASSEMBLY DISTRICT
WHEREAS, an application has been filed requesting an amendment to the
provisions of Section X(B) of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Oak Brook
to authorize clinics as a special use in the ORA-1 Zoning District; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing on said application has been held by the Zoning
Board of Appeals of the Village of Oak Brook on December 6, 1988 pursuant to
due and appropriate legal notice; and
WHEREAS, a recommendation has been made by the Plan Commission that the
requested amendment be made; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees concur with the recommenda-
tion of the Zoning Board of Appeals and deem the passage of this ordinance to
be in the best interest and in furtherance of the general welfare of the
Village of Oak Brook.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS as follows:
Section 1: That the provisions of the preamble hereinabove set forth are
hereby adopted as though fully set forth herein.
Section 2: That Section X(B)(2) of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village
of Oak Brook be and is hereby amended by adding thereto Subsection f, which
subsection shall read as follows:
"f. Clinic"
Section 3: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after passage and approval as provided by law.
