AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE TRAFFIC REGULATIONS
OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, ORDINANCE G-177, AS AMENDED
TO PROHIBIT PARKING ALONG WOOD ROAD
WHEREAS, the corporate authorities have heretofore adopted traffic
regulations pursuant. to Ordinance G-177; and
WHEREAS, said traffic regulations have been amended from time to time;
and
WHEREAS, the corporate authorities deem the further amendment of said
traffic regulations to prohibit parking along the north side of Wood Road to
be in the best interest of public safety;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS as follows:
Section l: That the provisions of the preamble hereinabove set forth are
hereby adopted as though fully set forth herein.
Section 2: That pursuant to Section 1-1303 of the Traffic Regulations of
the Village of Oak Brook, parking is prohibited along the entire length of the
north side of Wood Road.
Section 3: That the Superintendent of Public Works is hereby authorized
and directed to post signs to implement the provision of this Ordinance.
Section 4: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage, approval and publication in pamphlet form, as provided
by law.
