AN ORDINANCE REPEALING SECTION 8-146
OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES
OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK
WHEREAS, the corporate authorities of the Village of Oak Brook have
heretofore passed Ordinances G-15 and G-445, which ordinances established and
revised requirements for scavenger services operating in the Village of Oak
Brook and required a certain surety bond to assure the performance; and
WHEREAS, the corporate authorities have recently reviewed such
requirements and deem the requirement for a surety bond to be unnecessary;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS as follows:
Section 1: That the provisions of the preamble hereinabove set forth are
hereby adopted as though fully set forth herein.
Section 2: That Section 8-146 of the Code of Ordinances of the Village
of Oak Brook be and is hereby repealed.
Section 3: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after passage and approval as provided by law.
