AN ORDINANCE MENDING SECTION 9-12
OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK
RELATING TO ANIMAL CONTROL
BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of
Oak Brook, DuPage and Cook Counties, Illinois, as follows:
Section 1: That Section 9-12 of the Code of Ordinances of the Village of
Oak Brook be and is hereby amended by adding thereto subsection (f), which
subsection shall read as follows:
"The owner of any dog or cat shall not permit such animal to
defecate on any property other than that of the owner of the
animal unless such owner causes the excrement to be removed
immediately and disposed of in a sanitary manner."
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after passage and publication in pamphlet form in the manner required by
law.
Section .3: That the Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to
publish this ordinance in pamphlet form in the manner provided by law.
