AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3-23
OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE VILLAGE OF OAR BROOK, ILLINOIS
WHEREAS, Section 3-23 of the Code of Ordinances of the Village of
Oak Brook sets forth the authorized number of liquor licenses; and
WHEREAS, the corporate authorites desire to amend said provisions to
provide for the reduction in the number of authorized liquor licenses in
certain instances;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of
the Village of Oak Brook, DuPage and Cook Counties, Illinois, as follows:
Section 1: That the provisions of the preamble hereinabove set forth are
hereby adopted as though fully set forth herein.
Section 2: That Section 3-23 of the Code of Ordinances of the Village of
Oak Brook, Illinois, be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Limitation on Numbers.
(A) The number of liquor licenses authorized to be issued in each
classification is:
(1) Class A-1, fourteen (14) licenses.
(2) Class A-2, four (4) licenses.
(3) Class A-3, two (2) licenses.
(4) Class A-4, one (1) license.
(5) Class B, one (1) license.
(6) Class C, two (2) licenses.
(7) The number of Class D licenses shall not be
limited;
(8) Class E, one (1) license."
(B) The number of authorized liquor licenses stated herein shall be
automatically reduced for any such license which is (1) not issued; (2)
not used for 30 days or more; or (3) revoked.
Section 2: That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and approval as provided by law.
Section 3: That all ordinances or parts thereof in conflict with the
provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.

PASSED AND APPROVED this 23rd day of April , 1991 by the
President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Oak Brook, DuPage and Cook
Counties, Illinois according to a roll call vote as follows:
Ayes: Trustees Bartecki, Bushy, Maher, Rush, Winters and President Cerne
Nays: None
Absent: Trustee Payovich
Abstain: None
