AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION X(B) (2)
OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK
WHEREAS, an application has been filed requesting an amendment to
Section X(B) (2) of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Oak Brook to create
an additional authorized special use for radio and television stations and
production studios; and
WHEREAS, the Plan commission of the Village of Oak Brook recommended
approval of the requested text amendment; and
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals conducted a public hearing on the
request on April 7, 1992, pursuant to due and appropriate legal notice and has
recommended approval of the requested text amendment; and
WHEREAS, the Village President and Board of Trustees have reviewed the
recommendations of its Plan commission and Zoning Board of Appeals and deems
the requested text amendment be made to authorize radio and television
stations and productions studios as a special use; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS as follows:
Section 1: That the provisions of the preamble hereinabove set forth are
hereby adopted as though fully set forth herein.
Section 2: That Section X(B) (2) be and is hereby amended by adding
thereto subsection (i) to read as follows:
" (i) Radio and television stations and production studios"
Section 3: That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage, approval and publication as required by law.
Section 4: That the Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to
publish this ordinance in pamphlet form in the manner provided by law.
