AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK
DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, IL,
PROVIDING THAT ORDINANCE G-177,
THE TRAFFIC CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, IL
BE AMENDED IN PART TO REGULATE TRAFFIC IN THE
TRINITY LAKES SUBDIVISION
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Oak Brook
enacted Ordinance G-177, being an ordinance regulating traffic within the
Village of Oak Brook, which ordinance from time to time has been amended; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village deem it
advisable and in the best interest and in furtherance of the general welfare
of the citizens of the Village that said Ordinance G-177 be further amended to
provide traffic regulations in the Trinity Lakes Subdivision;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS as follows:
Section 1: That the provisions of the preamble hereinabove set forth are
hereby adopted as though fully set forth herein.
Section 2: That Schedule V of Ordinance G-177, entitled "Yield Streets"
is hereby amended by adding thereto the following:
Traffic On Will Yield To
Southbound Trinity Lane Eastbound/Westbound Trinity Lane/
St. Francis Circle
Section 3: That the appropriate officers and employees of the Village
are hereby authorized and directed to post such sign in conformance with the
provision of Section 2 hereof to implement the provisions of this ordinance.
Section 4: That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage, approval and publication in pamphlet form and the
posting of the appropriate signs as directed in Section 3 hereof.
Section 5: That all ordinances or parts thereof in conflict with the
provisions of this ordinance be, and the same are, hereby repealed to the
extent of such conflict.
