AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3-23
OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, ILLINOIS
AND AMENDING THE NUMBER OF AUTHORIZED LIQUOR LICENSES
WHEREAS, Section 3-23 of the Code of Ordinances of the Village of Cak
Brook authorizes certain nuT e.s of liquor licenses; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village deem it
advisable and in the best interest and in furtherance of the general welfare
of the citizens of the Village that the Code of Ordinances of the Village be
amended by revising the nu_nber of such permitted licenses;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU P__GE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS as follows:
Section 1: That subsection (1) of Section 3-23 of the Code of
Ordinances of the Village of Oak Brook, Illinois, be and the same is hereby
amended to read as follows:
"Limitation on Numbers.
The number of liquor licenses authorized to be issued in each
c1GSSlfication is:
(1) Class A-1, twelve (12) licenses.
(2) Class A-2, four (4) licenses.
(3) Class A-3, two (2) licenses.
(4) Class A-4, one (1) license.
(5) Class A-1, one (1) license.
(o) Class C, two (2) licenses.
(7) The number of Class D licenses shall not be limited;
(8) Class E, one (1) license.
Section 2: That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage, approval and publication as required by law.
Section 3: That all ordinances or parts thereof in conflict with the
provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent of such
conflict.
