ORDINANCE 93-PW-CR-G- 517
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 12-86
OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, ILLINOIS
RELATIVE TO PERMIT REQUIREMENTS
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Oak
Brook, Illinois, have heretofore adopted Section 12-86 of the Code of
Ordinances of said Village, which section sets forth certain public works
permit requirements to be submitted with the application; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the said Village deem a
revision of such permit requirements to be in the best interest and in
pursuance of the general welfare of the Village;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS as follows:
Section 1: That Section 12-86(B) (2) of the Code of Ordinances of the
Village of Oak Brook, Illinois be and is hereby amended to read as follows:
11(2) Detail scale drawings are required to be submitted with the
application for all work. These shall include plans adequately
and accurately showing the location and details of the proposed
construction and the location and sizes of all existing
underground utility lines and structures involved in the
construction or in the vicinity of the work. For all work
involving grading, culverts or ditching and sewer or sewer service
construction, existing and proposed grades shall be accurately
shown. For all work involving excavation, backfilling or
appurtenant grading, a schedule for restoration shall be
submitted. The slope of all sewer lines shall be shown."
Section 2: All ordinances, rules and regulations of the Village of Oak
Brook which are in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby
repealed to the extent of such conflict.
Section 3: If any section, subsection, sentence, clause or phrase of
this ordinance is for any reason held to be invalid, such determination shall
not affect the validity of any remaining portion of this ordinance.
Section 4: That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage, approval and publication as required by law.
Section 5: That the Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to
publish this ordinance in pamphlet form in the manner provided by law.
