AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 7 -2 -1, TRAFFIC SCHEDULES,
OF THE VILLAGE CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, IL
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Oak Brook have enacted
Ordinance G -642, being an ordinance regulating traffic within the Village of Oak Brook, which ordinance
from time to time has been amended; and
WHEREAS, certain information set forth in Schedule I is no longer current and must be amended
accordingly; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village deem it advisable and in the best
interest and in furtherance of the general welfare of the citizens of the Village that said Ordinance G -642
be further amended.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS as follows:
Section 1: That the provisions of the preamble hereinabove set forth are hereby adopted as
though fully set forth herein.
Section 2: That Schedule I, Altered Maximum Speed Limits, of the Village Code of the Village of
Oak Brook is hereby amended to read as follows:
"SCHEDULE I, ALTERED MAXIMUM SPEED LIMITS
In accordance with 625 ILCS 5/11 -601, and when signs are posted giving notice thereof, the maximum
speed limit is 25 MPH on all municipal streets except as follows:

Section 3: That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage,
approval and publication as required by law.
Section 4• That the Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to publish this ordinance in
pamphlet form in the manner provided by law.
Section • That all ordinances or parts thereof in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance be
and the same are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
