S-1112 - 03/22/2005 - PERSONAL PROPERTY - Ordinances'I;, 7 ORDINANCE 2005 -PP -S -1112 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SALE, DONATION OR DISPOSAL OF CERTAIN ITEMS OF PERSONAL PROPERTY OWNED BY THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK WHEREAS, in the opinion of a majority of the corporate authorities, it is no longer necessary or useful or in the best interests of the Village to retain the items of personal property listed below, and WHEREAS, the Village wishes to dispose of said property by sale, donation or disposal, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS as follows Section 1 The foregoing recitals are incorporated herein as findings of the corporate authorities Section 2 Pursuant to 65 ILCS 5/11 -76 -4, the President and Board of Trustees find that the items listed below, now owned by the Village, are surplus property and are no longer necessary or useful to the Village and the best interests of the Village will be served by their sale, donation or disposal Therefore, pursuant to 65 ILCS 5/11 -76 -4, the Village Manager is hereby authorized and directed to dispose of the said items by sale, if possible, or by donation or disposal if sale is not possible QUANTITY . - DESCRIPTION MODEL/SERIAL-NUMBERS- 1 Kustom Signals Falcon Stationary NUMBERS 12 Corded Radar Gun FF11812 1 Decatur Electronics Genesis II Dash Model SHL Series B Mount Moving or Stationary Radar with Front and Rear Antennas and G2 -3748 Remote 7 Federal Signal Smart Siren Controllers Model ss2000 Section 3 Pursuant to 65 ILCS 5/11 -76 -4, the President and Board of Trustees find that the items listed below, now owned by the Village, are surplus property and are no longer necessary or useful to the Village and the best interests of the Village will be served by their sale, donation or disposal Therefore, pursuant to 65 ILCS 5/11 -76 -4, the Village Manager is hereby authorized and directed to dispose of the said items by sale or donation to a government entity, or disposal if such sale or donation is not possible QUANTITY DESCRIPTION MODEL /SERIAL NUMBERS 12 Federal Signal Red /Blue Police Light Bars with Amber Arrow Model SHL Series B Sticks Section 4 All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent of the conflict.
