ORDINANCE 2001- ZO -TA -G- 676
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 13- 10A -3(A)
OF THE VILLAGE CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK
ENTITLED "LOT AREA REQUIREMENTS"
WHEREAS, an amendment of the provisions of Section 13- 10A -3(A) of the Zoning Ordinance of
the Village of Oak Brook, increasing the floor area ratio (FAR) in the ORA -1 District from .45 to .60, has
been proposed by Oak Brook Hines Development, L.L.C.; and
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Oak Brook, after public hearing
pursuant to statutory notice, has recommended approval of the amendment increasing the FAR in the
ORA -1 District from .45 to 48 to the President and Board of Trustees; and
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission has submitted its report on the proposed amendment to the
President and Board of Trustees; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees deem the passage of this ordinance to be in the
best interest and in furtherance of the public health, safety and general welfare of the citizens of the
Village of Oak Brook.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS as follows.
Section 1: That the provisions of the preamble hereinabove set forth are hereby adopted as
though fully set forth herein.
Section 2: That Section 13- 10A -3(A) of the Village Code of the Village of Oak Brook is hereby
amended to read as follows:
"13- 10A -3. LOT AREA REQUIREMENTS -
A. Floor Area Ratio: Not to exceed 0.48 "
Section 3: That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage,
approval and publication as required by law.
Section 4: That the Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to publish this ordinance in
pamphlet form in the manner provided by law.
