AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 7 -103 OF ARTICLE VI
OF ORDINANCE G -642,
THE TRAFFIC CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, IL, AS AMENDED
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Oak Brook have enacted
Ordinance G -642, being an ordinance regulating traffic within the Village of Oak Brook, which ordinance
from time to time has been amended; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village deem it advisable and in the best
interest and in furtherance of the general welfare of the citizens of the Village that said Ordinance G -642
be further amended to require that northbound traffic on Regent Drive yield to Kingston Drive traffic
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS as follows
Section 1 That the provisions of the preamble hereinabove set forth are hereby adopted as
though fully set forth herein.
Section 2 That Article VI, Section 7 -103, Schedule V, "Yield Streets ", be amended to
include the following
"Traffic On Will Yield To
Regent Drive, Northbound Kingston Drive"
Section 4* That the Public Works Director is hereby authorized and directed to post a "Yield"
sign on northbound Regent Drive at Kingston Drive.
Section 5 That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval
and publication as required by law.
Section 6, That the Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to publish this ordinance in
pamphlet form in the manner provided by law
Section 7• That all ordinances or parts thereof in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance be
and the same are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict
