ORDINANCE 2004- TC -RR -G -755
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 2 (TRAFFIC
SCHEDULES) OF TITLE 7 (MOTOR VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC)
OF THE VILLAGE CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Oak Brook have enacted
Ordinance G -642, being an ordinance regulating traffic within the Village of Oak Brook, which ordinance
from time to time has been amended, and
WHEREAS, the Engineering Department of the Village of Oak Brook conducted a traffic study at
the intersection of Camelot Drive and Regent Drive and determined that said intersection warranted a
yield sign, and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village deem it advisable and in the best
interest and in furtherance of the general welfare of the citizens of the Village that said Ordinance G -642
be further amended to require theinstallation of a yield sign on Camelot Drive at the intersection of
Camelot Drive and Regent Drive
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS as follows
Section 1: That the provisions of the preamble hereinabove set forth are hereby adopted as
though fully set forth herein
Section 2 That Schedule V, Yield Streets, of Section 7 -2 -1 of the Village Code of the Village of
Oak Brook is hereby amended by adding the following
"SCHEDULE V, YIELD STREETS
"Traffic On
Camelot Drive
Will Yield To
Regent Drive"
Section 3 That the Public Works Director is hereby authorized and directed to post a "Yield"
sign on Camelot Drive
Section 4 That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval
and publication as required by law
Section 5 That all ordinances or parts thereof in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance be
and the same are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict
