A Resolution Appointing Representatives to the Intergovenmental Risk Management
Agency
Background/History:
The Village of Oak Brook is a member of the Intergovernmental Risk Management Agency
(IRMA) for Risk Management, Defense and Risk Coverage. The Village has a Delegate and an
Alternate which represent the Village on their Board, as well as the other 70 members. The Oak
Brook Assistant Village Manager serves as the Delegate and the Human Resources Generalist will
serve as the Alternate member. As Diana Maciejewski, is our new Human Resource Generalist, she will
have to be added by resolution.
Recommendation:
I recommend the Board approve the attached resolution.

RESOLUTION 2016-IRMA-R-1578
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING REPRESENTATIVES
TO THE INTERGOVERNMENTAL RISK MANAGEMENT AGENCY
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF
OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, that Sharon Dangles, Assistant Village
Manager/Finance Director, will serve as "Delegate" representative of the Village of Oak Brook to the
Board of Directors of the Intergovernmental Risk Management Agency (IRMA) pursuant to the IRMA by-
laws. Diana Maciejewski, Human Resource Generalist, shall serve as the Village's "Alternate"
representative to IRMA.
Said representative shall have the power and duty to vote on all matters pertinent to the
operations and management of the Intergovernmental Risk Management Agency and shall report to the
Village Manager and Board of Trustees on a regular basis on all matters pertaining to the
Intergovernmental Risk Management Agency.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Village Clerk is hereby authorized to transmit a certified
copy of this Resolution to the Intergovernmental Risk Management Agency, Four Westbrook Corporate
Center Suite 940, Westchester, Ilinois.
