AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 14, ( "FEES "),
OF TITLE 1 ( "ADMINISTRATION ")
OF THE VILLAGE CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK
WHEREAS, the corporate authorities previously ordained, approved and adopted the
recodification of the Village Code of the Village of Oak Brook, IL on September 12, 2000, and
WHEREAS, the corporate authorities, from time to time, have amended said Village Code; and
WHEREAS, the Village President and Board of Trustees deem the further amendment of said
Village Code to be appropriate, and in the best interest of the citizens of the Village of Oak Brook,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS as follows
Section 1 - That the provisions of the preamble hereinabove set forth are hereby adopted as
though fully set forth herein.
Section 2- That Sections 1 -14 -1 and 1 -14 -2 of the Village Code of the Village of Oak Brook
entitled, "Fees" is amended to read as set forth in the attached exhibit labeled Exhibit B and incorporated
herein by reference
Section 3 That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage,
approval and publication as required by law
Section 9: That the Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to publish this ordinance in
pamphlet form in the manner provided by law

1 -14 -1: Fees
1 -14 -2: Waiver of Fees
1 -14 -1: FEES: The following fees are hereby established and shall be payable
upon submission of an application, except as other specifically noted
herein, for the following:
A. Application for amendment under zoning ordinance $750
In addition to the above fees, all applicants shall reimburse the village for the
publication cost of the public notice within thirty (30) days of the date the village
seeks reimbursement for such charges.
B. Application for special use permit:

In addition to the above fees, all applicants shall reimburse the village for the
publication cost of the public notice and shall reimburse the village for any
outside consulting review charges within thirty (30) days of the date the village
seeks reimbursement for such charges.
C Application for variation under the zoning ordinance or the storm water
regulations $750
In addition to the above fees, all applicants shall reimburse the village for the
publication cost of the public notice and shall reimburse the village for any
outside consulting review charges within thirty (30) days of the date the village
seeks reimbursement for such charges
D. Application for appeal under the zoning ordinance or the storm water
regulations. $300
In addition to the above fees, all applicants shall reimburse the village for any

E Application for subdivision:
1. Preliminary plat, per lot $ 50
Minimum fee $750
2 Final plat $750
3. Plans and specifications: The following fees for the review of engineering plans
and specifications shall be paid to the Village at the time the documents are
submitted for review-

In addition to the above fees, all applicants shall reimburse the village for any
outside consulting review charges within thirty (30) days of the date the village
seeks reimbursement for such charges
4 Engineering inspection. At the time the subdivision plat is presented for final
approval, a fee for inspection of the improvement shall be paid to the village in
the amount indicated by the following table:

The above fees shall be for the periodic inspection of the improvements. In
addition to the above fees, all applicants shall reimburse the village for any
outside consulting inspection charges within thirty (30) days of the date the
village seeks reimbursement for such charges.
5 Resubmissions: Upon submission of any final plat which has not bee recorded
because of noncompliance with the provisions of section 14 -4 -6 of this code, the
fees enumerated under subsections E2, E3 and E4 of this section shall be paid,
notwithstanding any prior payment.
F. Application for amendment or variation to the subdivision
regulations $750
In addition to the above fees, all applicants shall reimburse the village for the
publication cost of the public notice within thirty (30) days of the date the village
seeks reimbursement for such charges.
G Application for certificate of appropriateness in the historic
Graue Mill Gateway area $500
H. Application for time extension: preliminary and final subdivision plat, special
use, and variation $125

1-14-2- WAIVER OF FEES: Any governmental unit or any charitable
organization as defined in the act to regulate solicitation and collection of funds for
charitable purposes may request waiver of any fees established in this chapter Upon
such request the village president and board of trustees may, in its discretion, waive any
