ORDINANCE 2002- ZO -TA -G 710
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 13 -10E -2 OF
THE VILLAGE CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK
RELATING TO PERMITTED USES IN THE 0-4 DISTRICT
WHEREAS, an application has been filed requesting that Section 13 -10E -2 of the Village Code of
the Village of Oak Brook be amended, which section pertains to post baccalaureate schools as special
uses in the 0-4 District; and
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission, on October 21, 2002, reviewed said application and has
recommended its approval; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing on the application has been conducted on November 5, 2002 by the
Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Oak Brook pursuant to due and appropriate legal notice, and
said Board has recommended approval of the amendment; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees have reviewed these recommendations and
concur with the recommendations and deem the passage of this ordinance to be in the best interest and in
furtherance of the general welfare of the Village of Oak Brook;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS as follows:
Section 1: That the provisions of the preamble hereinabove set forth are hereby adopted as
though fully set forth herein.
Section 2: That Section 13 -10E -2 of the Village Code of the Village of Oak Brook be and is
hereby amended to read as follows:
"Schools - non - residential, post baccalaureate school, provided that not more than 20% of the
course offerings may be prerequisite to admission to the post baccalaureate programs."
Section 3: That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval
and publication as required by law.
Section 4: That the Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to publish this ordinance in
pamphlet form in the manner provided by law.
