AN ORDINANCE REQUIRING THAT THE OFFICIAL RECORD
OF A "SPECIAL MEETING" CALLED FOR THE PURPOSE OF
DISCUSSING A MATTER BEING LITIGATED AMONGST THE
CORPORATE AUTHORITIES OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK
BE A VERBATIM TRANSCRIPT OF THE MEETING
WHEREAS, the Village President and Board of Trustees believe that, when a matter is being
litigated amongst the Corporate Authorities, it is in the best interest of the Village of Oak Brook that the
- contents of the meeting be transcribed verbatim, and
WHEREAS, the Village President and Board of Trustees also believe that the verbatim transcript
should become the official record of said special meetings,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of
Oak Brook, Du Page and Cook Counties, Illinois as follows
Section 1 The recitals hereto are incorporated as part of this ordinance
Section 2. Any "Special Meeting" called for the purpose of discussing a matter being
litigated amongst the Corporate Authorities of the Village of Oak Brook shall be recorded and transcribed
verbatim
Section 3 The verbatim transcript shall become the official record of said "Special Meeting "
Section 4 All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with this ordinance are hereby
repealed to the extent of the conflict
Section 5 This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval
and publication as required by law
