Martens, Village Attorney Traffic Schedule I, Speed Limits PHONE 630 990 -3000 FAX 630 990 -0 876 W E B S I T E: www oak -brook org Several of our police officers have noted errors in our schedule of speed limits. Accordingly, we have prepared the attached ordinance which corrects these errors. For example, the speed limit on Wood Glen Lane is 25 mph, like other residential Village streets, not the exceptional 40 mph limit as stated in this schedule. Also, Illinois Route 83's posted speed limit drops to 45 mph at approximately the 2400 block northbound. Our current schedule indicates 55 mph from the southern Village limits to 22 "d Street. The last issue relates to the jurisdiction of Oak Brook vs. Oakbrook Terrace on Butterfield Road. I understand you will consider this matter at your regular meeting on Tuesday, February 27, 2001. Respectfully submitted, \S C= Richard A Martens Village Attorney RAM:sps Attachment cc: Stephen B. Veitch, Village Manager Allen W. Pisarek, Chief of Police M' 7. 13.2.
