The Illinois Department of Labor has released statistics relative to such prevailing wage rates for DuPage and Cook Counties. Attached is an ordinance which adopts these mandated wage rates. Motion by Trustee Caleel, seconded by Trustee Kenny, to ratify the consensus reached by the Board of Trustees at the Closed Meeting of May 23, 2000 and renew Stephen B. A copy of that determination is attached hereto, labelled Exhibit "A" and made a part hereof. The definition of any terms appearing in this Ordinance which are also used in the aforesaid Act shall be the same as in said Act. As required by the Act, any and all revisions of the prevailing rate of wages by the Department of Labor of the State of Illinois shall supersede the Department's June determination and apply to any and all public works construction undertaken by the Village of Oak Brook. Section 2• Nothing herein contained shall be construed to apply said general prevailing rate of wages as herein ascertained to any work or employment except public works construction of this Village to the extent required by the aforesaid Act.
