Village of Oak Brook 1200 Oak Brook Road Oak Brook, Illinois 60523 ORDINANCE 2000- ZO -R -S- 969 AN ORDINANCE REZONING PROPERTY TO THE CONSERVATION /RECREATION DISTRICT (3800 York Road, Oak Brook, IL 60523) WHEREAS, an application has been filed by the Forest Preserve District of DuPage Cou i ty requesting the rezoning of property located at 3800 York Road from R -3 to C /R; and WHEREAS, the Plan Commission on June 19, 2000 and the Zoning Board of Appeals on July 6 2000, recommended approval of the requested rezoning; and 11 WHEREAS, the Village President and Board of Trustees have reviewed the recommendations of the Plan Commission and Zoning Board of Appeals and deem the rezoning of the property to C /R1, Conservation /Recreation District to be consistent with the Comprehensive Plan and in the best interests of the Village; and WHEREAS, all required hearings were held pursuant to due and appropriate legal notice; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS as follows: Section 1: That the provisions of the preamble hereinabove set forth are hereby adopted as though fully set forth herein.
