Background/History: The police squad car computers on the attached list have been taken out of service by the Police Department and are ready for disposal. The computers will be disposed of by first advertising for bids. If no bids are received, they will be donated to the Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority. This not - for - profit agency oversees ALERTS /ALECS/PIMS and acts as a clearing house for old usable computers. Any remaining computers will be disposed. Recommendation: I recommend that the Village Board adopt the attached ordinance authorizing the sale of surplus police squad car computers. B REGULAR BOARD OF TRUSTEES MEETING OF AUGUST 10 2004 Motion by Trustee Aktipis, seconded by Trustee Korin, to continue the minutes of the August 10, 2004 Regular Board of Trustees meeting. VOICE VOTE: Motion carried. Trustee Aktipis requested that the minutes be corrected of his remarks as they have not been accurately recorded and he will give Clerk Gonnella his changes. 05. CONSENT AGENGA: All items on the Consent Agenda are considered to be routine in nature and will be enacted in one motion. There will be no separate discussion of these items unless a Board member so requests, in which event, the item will be removed from the Consent Agenda and considered as the first item after approval of the Consent Agenda. Trustee Zannis asked that 5 D 1, RFP for Bath & Tennis Club Management, be removed for further discussion. Motion by Trustee Caleel, seconded by Trustee Yusuf, to approve the Consent Agenda and authorize expenditures as amended. Increased membership has made the Club more viable this year. "Family Night is Fun Night" on six Fridays during the summer has generated much positive response from members and sparked interest in booking events at the Club Staff has cut costs significantly, including accepting pay cuts, in order to reduce costs and increase profitability.
