" RECOMMENDATION: (1) That the Village President and Board of Trustees approve the attached ordinance granting a flood plain special use permit to the property at 341 Forest Trail; and i (2) That the Village President and Board of Trustees approve) the attached ordinance granting variations from the Flood Plain and Wetland Regulations for the property at 341 Forest Trail to permit construction of improvements to the existing residence located in the flood plain Pursuant to your direction, I have drafted the attached ordinances which (1) grants a flood plain special use to permit construction of improvements to the existing residence at 341 Forest Tf ail located within the flood plain; and (2) grants variations from the flood plain and wetland regulations to permit the first floor of the proposed improvements to be less than one foot above the base flood elevation. The ordinance granting a flood plain special use should be considered before the ordinance granting the variations.
