Recommendation: I recommend that this Ordinance be considered for passage. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DUPAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, as follows: Section 1: That the recitals above are hereby incorporated into and made a part of this ordinance. Section 2: That the Subject Property aforesaid is hereby granted a special use to permit construction of a three (3) bay drive -in banking facility, subject to the following conditions- 1 Development in accordance to the site plans proposed by Fifth Third Bancorp prepared by Charles Vincent George Design Group, Inc , dated June 8, 2007; 2 Construction of a landscaped wall /berm along the south side of the bank - drive -thru addressing concerns raised by the residents of Oakbrook Terrace; 3 Amend the landscape plan to enhance and extend the evergreen vegetation south along the west side of the retaining wall as prepared by Charles Vincent George Design Group, Inc., dated August 29, 2007; 4 All lighting on the bank property shall be properly screened to ensure that the illumination shall not exceed .5 foot candles at the property line; and 5. Notwithstanding the exhibits contained in the case file, the Applicant shall meet all Village ordinance requirements at the time of building permit application except as specifically varied or waived.
