RECOMMENDED MOTION: I move that the Village Board adopt resolution
2011- FI -SA -R -1143, which is a corporate authorization resolution setting forth the Finance
Director authorized to conduct Village banking business.
Backeround/HistorV:
At the Village Board meeting of November 8, 2011 the Village Board authorized the Village
Manager to enter into various agreements for banking services with Chase Bank. The resolution
notes the Finance Director is authorized to sign and endorse Village checks as well as the dollar
limitation for check signing. The resolution is routine when transitioning to a new bank. At this
time, the signature card is necessary to assign the Village with an account number so that we can
start the transition process. In January, a resolution will come to the Village Board to assign
authority to other signatories such as the President, Village Manager and Assistant Village
Manager.
Recommendation:
The Village Board adopt resolution 2011- FI -SA -R -1143, which is a corporate authorization
resolution setting forth the Finance Director authorized to conduct Village banking
business.
