Background/History:
The Village issued a Request for Proposal on March 5, 2015 for Telephone Company Services,
and three (3) proposals were received

Recommendation:
I move that the Village Board approve a renewal of a telephone service agreement with
CallOne, Inc. for discounted telephone services and approve Resolution 2017
AG-R-1639.
RESOLUTION 2017-TELECOM-AG-R-1639
A RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF
A RENEWAL AGREEMENT FOR TELEPHONE SERVICES
WHEREAS, the Village issued a request for proposal on March 5, 2015 to purchase ISDN PRI
service and POTS and alarm/radio circuit lines (collectively, “Telephone Services”) for the Village
("RFP"); and
WHEREAS, the Village approved an agreement for a term of one year with Call One to provide
the POTS and alarm/radio circuit lines portion of the Telephone Services (“Call One Agreement"), on
April 14, 2015; and
WHEREAS, on May 24, 2016 the Village approved a one-year extension of the Call One
Agreement; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees have determined that renewing the Agreement
for an additional one year period with Call One will serve and be in the best interest of the Village.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS as follows:
Section 1: Recitals. The foregoing recitals are hereby incorporated into, and made a part
of, this Resolution as the findings of the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Oak Brook.
Section 2: Approval of the Call One Agreement. The President and Board of Trustees
hereby approve the Call One Agreement by and between the Village and Call One in substantially the
same form attached hereto as Exhibit A.
Section 3: Authorization and Execution of the Agreement. The Village President and Village
Clerk shall be, and hereby are, authorized to execute the Call One Agreement
Section 4: Effective Date. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect upon passage and
approval in the manner provided by law.
