RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION
WHEREAS, MARK M. MOY has faithfully and with dedication and distinction served the Village
of Oak Brook in his capacity as Village Trustee from May 2009 through May 2017; and
WHEREAS, MARK M. MOY was a Village Trustee during the challenging financial years of 2009
and 2010 and was faced with difficult decisions in the best interests of the Village; and
WHEREAS, during his tenure on the Village Board, MARK M. MOY worked tirelessly on the
ADHoc Legal Committee toward the goals of reducing the Village's legal expenses and retaining the best
legal representation; and
WHEREAS, he was involved with several large commercial developments as liaison to the
Zoning Board of Appeals during his four years as a Village Trustee; and
WHEREAS, MARK M. MOY, served as a liaison to the Hotel Convention and Visitors Committee
and was involved in working toward attracting more visitors to the Village; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees are of the opinion that a record of such faithful
service should be made and spread upon the records of said Village.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of
Oak Brook that the said MARK M. MOY be and is hereby commended for his loyal service to the Village
of Oak Brook and the citizens thereof.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Oak
Brook, for and on behalf of said Village and its citizens, do hereby extend their appreciation and gratitude
to the said MARK M. MOY for his civic service as aforedescribed.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a duly certified copy of this Resolution be delivered to the said
MARK M. MOY and that this Resolution be spread upon the official permanent records of said Village.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Oak
Brook, DuPage and Cook Counties, Illinois, this 9th day of May, 2017.
