A RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING
A WATER SERVICE EASEMENT AGREEMENT FOR 3001 GRANT STREET
WHEREAS, the Property Owner of 3001 Grant Street ("Owner") desires to install and maintain a
water service on a portion of the property located at 2606-2624 York Road (P.I.N. 06-25-300-017, near
the Westchester Park Subdivision), Oak Brook, Illinois ("Property"), which Property is owned by the
Village of Oak Brook (collectively, "Village"); and
WHEREAS, on June 13, 2017 the Village Board and the Owner agreed on the desire to enter into
an easement agreement in order to permit the Owner to install and maintain the water service on the
Property ("Plat of Easement'); and
WHEREAS. the President and Board of Trustees of the Village have determined that it will serve
and be in the best interests of the Village and its residents to sign the Plat of Easement;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS as follows:
Section 1: Recitals. The foregoing recitals are hereby incorporated into, and made a part
of, this Resolution as the findings of the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Oak Brook.
Section 2: Approval of the Plat of Easement. The President and Board of Trustees hereby
approve the Plat of Easement by and between the Village and the Owner in substantially the same form
as attached as Exhibit A, and in a final form approved by the Village Attorney.
Section 3: Authorization and Execution of the Easement Agreement. The Village Manager
and Village Clerk shall be, and hereby are, authorized to execute the Plat of Easement receipt of the final
Plat of Easement fully executed by the Owner.
Section 4: Effective Date. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect upon passage and
approval in the manner provided by law.
