Resolution Appointing Representatives to the Intergovernmental Risk
Management Agency
Background/Historv:
The Village of Oak Brook is a member of the Intergovernmental Risk
Management Agency (IRNA) for Risk Management, Defense and Risk Coverage.
The Village has a Delegate and an Alternate which represent the Village on their
Board, as well as the other 70 members. The Oak Brook Finance Director serves
as the Delegate and the Human Resources Manger/Deputy Clerk will serve as the
Alternate member. Presently, Jason Paprocki, our Finance Director, serves as our
delegate and Kathy Vonachen will be added as the Alternate by resolution.
Recommendation
I recommend the Board approve the attached resolution.

RESOLUTION 2017-IRMA-R-1675
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING REPRESENTATIVES
TO THE INTERGOVERNMENTAL RISK MANAGEMENT AGENCY
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF
OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, that Jason Paprocki, Acting Finance
Director, will serve as "Delegate" representative of the Village of Oak Brook to the Board of Directors of
the Intergovernmental Risk Management Agency (IRMA) pursuant to the IRMA by-laws. Kathy
Vonachen, Human Resource Manager, shall serve as the Village's "Alternate"representative to IRMA.
Said representative shall have the power and duty to vote on all matters pertinent to the
operations and management of the Intergovernmental Risk Management Agency and shall report to the
Village Manager and Board of Trustees on a regular basis on all matters pertaining to the
Intergovernmental Risk Management Agency.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Village Clerk is hereby authorized to transmit a certified
copy of this Resolution to the Intergovernmental Risk Management Agency, Four Westbrook Corporate
Center Suite 940, Westchester, Ilinois.
