WHEREAS,the SPC sought bids forthe purchase ofthe Po∥ce U∥∥ty Vehicles and identined currie

WHEREAS,Cur"e bid to se∥one 2018 Ford U∥∥ty Po∥ce lnterceptor AVVD forthe total amount of
$29,941:and
WHEREAS,the SPC sought bids forthe purchase ofthe 2018 Ford F‐150 XL Pick‐Up and identified
Roesch Ford,of Bensenv∥le,∥∥nois(`lROesc力 'つ as the lowest responsible bidderto provide the Pick‐Upi
and
WHEREAS,Roesch bid to se∥one 2018 Ford F‐150 XL Pick―Up Forthe total amount of S33,543:
and
WHEREAS,because the SPC a ready conducted competitive bidding processes forthe purchase
ofthe Vehicles,the Vi∥age stafFhas recommended thatthe V∥lage waive compettve bidding and approve
the purchase ofthe Vehicles from Curne and Roeschi and
WHEREAS,in addition to the cost of purchasing the Vehicles,there w∥l be additional costs of
approx rnately S1 2,000 forthe purchase and lnsta∥ation of equipmenti and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees, being fu∥y advised in the premises, have
determined thatitis in the bestinterests ofthe Vi∥age and its residents to so walve competitive bidding and
to approve the purchase ofthe Vehicles from Currie and Roesch and also the necessary equipment:

Section l: Rec tals The foregoing recitals are hereby incorporated into,and made a part of,
this Resolution as the findings ofthe President and Board of Trustees ofthe V∥lage of Oak Brook
Sect on 21 Waiver of Competitive Biddinq Requirements The advertising and bidding
requirements forthe purchase ofthe Vehicles are hereby waived in accordance with Section l‐7‐4 ofthe
V∥age Code
SecJon 3: AuthoHza∥on of Purchase ofthe Vehicle The President and Board of Trustees
hereby approve the purchase ofthe 2018 Ford ut∥ity Pollce lnterceptor AWD from Curr e for a price notto
exceed S29,941

Section 4: Authorization of Purchase of the Vehicles. The President and Board of Trustees
hereby approve the purchase of the one 2018 Ford F-150 XL Pick-Up from Roesch for a price not to exceed
$33,543.
Section 5: Authorization of Purchase of the Eouipment. The President and Board of Trustees
hereby approve the purchase of the necessary Equipment for a price not to exceed $12,000.
Section 6: Execution of Reouired Documentation. The Village Manager shall be, and is
hereby, authorized to execute, on behalf of the Village all documents necessary to complete the purchase
pursuant to Sections 3, 4 and 5 of this Resolution.
Section 7: Effective Date. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage by two{hirds of the Trustees and its approval in the manner provided by law.
