manufacturers and dlstr butors,thereby making it inefficient and impract calto so∥c t bids or proposals for
the Golf Merchandisei and
WHEREAS,the V∥lage has had a satsfactory relationship w th many of the manufacturers and
distr butors that w∥ be providing the VI∥age with Go f Merchandise;and
VVHEREAS,the VI∥age President and Board of Trustees,being fu∥y advised ln the premises,have
determlned that t is ln the best nterests ofthe V∥lage and ls residents to:o)waiVe compeu∥ve bidd ng for
the purchase of Gor Merchandise;and()authOnze the purchase of Gor Merchand se for resale by the
V∥age Cor Club
NOW THEREFORE,3EIT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF OAK BR00K,DU PAGE AND C00K COUNTIES,ILLINOIS as fo∥owsi

Section 2: VVaiver of Compett ve Biddinq Requirements The advertising and bidding
requ rements forthe purchase of Go f Merchandise sha∥be,and they are hereby,waived in accordance
wth Section l‐7-4 ofthe V∥lage Municipal Code
Seclon 3: Approval of Purchase The V∥age Manageris hereby authorized and d rected to
execute such documents and make such payments as are necessary to purchase Golf Merchandise for
resale atthe V∥lage Go f Club for a total not―to‐exceed cost of S158,00000
Section 4: Effective Date This Resolution sha∥be in fu∥force and effect from and afterits
passage bytwo―th rds ofthe Trustees and its approvalin the manner provided bylaw
