Oak Brook Police Department Investigating Apple Burglary
Oak Brook, IL- January 23, 2020- At approximately 10:47 AM on January 22nd, the Oak
Brook Police Department responded to a report from Oakbrook Center security as thy
witnessed on video surveillance several subjects involved in a “grab and run” of multiple I-
phones from the Apple Store, Oakbrook Center. It was determined three (3) suspects drove
away from the scene in a silver, 4 door Lincoln bearing Ohio registration HTF7152 prior to
police arrival. Oak Brook Police searched the area and determined that the vehicle fled
East/Bound towards Roosevelt Rd and York Rd.
The estimated value of the loss is $8,000 to $10,000 of (10) I-phones. Oak Brook Police
recovered evidence from the scene and Detectives are working several leads to identify the
offenders in this case. The video is currently not available for release at this time. No one is
in custody at this time. Attached are screenshots of the suspects and the alleged get away
vehicle.
